In general, 15-30 units may be needed for the forehead, or as many as 40-50 for between the brows. The injection sites for addressing forehead creases and brow wrinkles include:

• Beneath the hairline
• Near the temples
• Center of the forehead
• Above the brows
• Between the brows

Depending on the goals of the patient, their particular anatomy, and their history with Botox treatments, 3 to 5 units per injection site may be recommended. For example, for softening the glabella lines, your practitioner may inject 5 units in two sites above each of the brows and one between the brows for a total of 25 units. Another person who is in for just a touchup appointment may only need 3 units in each injection site.
